Stowe House Lion
Another shot from our visit to Stowe Gardens in Buckinghamshire.
This is one of the lions guarding the back of Stowe House, which is now a school. We were very lucky that by pure chance it was half-term, and so we were able to view the renovated parts of the house too.
This is taken with the Tokina 11-16mm, and I was quite stupidly close to the lion's paw (~ 4 inches away). I never seem to get used to how wide the field of view is with this lens. It always takes my breath away when I first look through the view finder. :)
