Humphrey & the Moon
From our holiday lodge, we were treated to some fantastic moon rises, but most only lasted a short while before hitting the clouds.
This shot is the product of that old favourite, "messing around after a glass of wine".
I was trying to get a shot of Humphrey and the backlit motion-blur clouds, by light-painting him with my pocket maglite as he perched on a spotting scope. This caused lots of reflections on the window & varying degrees of light on his fur.
Back at home, I've tried to combine the best three 30sec exposures using PSE10 & layer masks.
Not the best shot, but it does make me smile. :)
