This little yellow boat took us over to Brownsea Island and the exact same boat picked us up at 10.30pm to take us home.
We went over to see BOAT's (Brownsea Open Air Theatre) production of Titus Andronicus (the one where *everybody* dies), which was good fun. Glad I wore my jeans as it got a bit chilly towards the end. We had a small picnic on church field beforehand too. It was a very pleasant evening.
Brownsea Island is in Poole Harbour and it's said to be Enid Blyton's inspiration for Kirrin Island in the Famous Five books.
